The Rutgers Finance Society aims to facilitate networking and educational opportunities for our members within the financial industry. One way that we advance this goal is by having industry professionals speak to and network with our members to give them an understanding of what finance is all about, the reality of the current economic situation, and a better grasp of the many career opportunities available within finance.

The Rutgers Finance Society at Rutgers University in Newark is an organization for students who are interested in Finance and all related fields of Finance. It seeks to encourage the students' interest in such fields through collaboration and discussion.
We have meetings and events scheduled for most weeks of the calendar school year. Meetings are during free periods on Mondays (11:30AM - 12:50PM) or Wednesdays (2:30PM - 3:50PM). Events will primarily be during free periods unless otherwise specifically stated.
No. We accept all interested majors. However, the vast majority of our events deal primarily with Finance. With that being said, the bulk of our members attend Rutgers Business School and major in a business or finance-related field.
Our members gain opportunities for internships, full-time job offers, access to invaluable networking events, a mentor program, and a host of opportunities only available through RFS events.
